If you're going to do another grab bag, I would love to know the economics behind Ronald McDonald houses collecting pop-can tops. I thought it was an urban legend, but it's true.

ooo...lemme venture a guess? There's actually a *lot* of aluminum in the tops, and they're clean (pure aluminum, not even paint to scrape off the top), and already sorted.
